Job Summary As a member of the Business Development team, the Sales Development Representative (SDR) will be focused on outreach, prospecting, and lead qualification to generate conversations, calls, and meetings for the Business Development Directors. This is an in-house position working closely with the Sales Enablement team and SVP of Sales to define target verticals, industries, and businesses. As the SDR, you will be responsible for seeking the appropriate individuals at target companies to communicate the Amsive value proposition with the goal of creating new business opportunities. As the first line of communication with prospects, the SDR should have a strong understanding of the sales process, excel at utilizing technology to research target companies, craft thoughtful and customized emails, and develop strong pitch phone calls. The ideal candidate will be: A self-starter that is goal-driven and competitive in nature Comfortable speaking on the phone and remotely working with prospective customers High energy with a positive attitude, and willingness to learn (sales technology tools and platforms, process, identifying quality targets and building relationships) An excellent communicator and have strong organizational skills This is an in-office position, requiring 3-4 days a week in our NYC office. Responsibilities Maintain a daily prospecting regimen that includes researching, identifying, and contacting potential new account opportunities Outreach to potential customers through cold calling, email, and LinkedIn Collaborate with Sales teams to define target companies and outreach lists Partner with Sales Enablement to help define the sales outreach process and messaging Testing different cadences, subject lines, messaging, etc. Learn and leverage sales technology: Salesforce to track and manage sales pipeline and prospect information Leadfeeder, ZoomInfo to enhance opportunity and lead identity Pathmatics, Kantar, Competiscan, Mintel, etc. to research and identify the prospects’ needs and suggest appropriate products and services Support larger sales prospecting efforts, helping to build company contact lists and identifying new potential sales outlets and opportunities Track and manage sales pipeline funnel Actively manage aged leads by confirming correct contacts and their viability Collaborate with Business Development Directors on selected leads Proactively learn and listen in on discovery calls and pitches to get a better understanding of the industry and our business Qualifications/Skills College degree or equivalent of relevant experience Experience with Excel, Outlook, Word & PowerPoint 0-3 years of B2B sales experience Proven creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills Strong desire and ability to learn the business, industry, sales technology tools and process Able to work independently and in a team-oriented environment Prior experience as a sales development representative with a track record of achieving goals is nice to have Experience with Salesforce or a similar CRM is nice to have A go-getter with the want to learn about the sales process and media industry Why Work with Amsive Digital?
