Director of Sales & Marketing Strategy Business Development NY, New York Full Time We’re looking for a Director of Sales & Marketing Strategy to help us drive new business operations and opportunities as part of a growing and exciting sales team. The right candidate will have passion for the digital world, experience creating and presenting sales pitches, a propensity to story-tell, phenomenal business acumen, and a boundless desire to learn in a fast-paced environment. They must demonstrate an ability to take initiative, anticipate needs, and exercise independent and sound judgment. This candidate should have at least seven years of experience in digital sales and/or marketing for marketing organizations. This person should be interested in learning about a variety of B2B and B2C businesses and new digital solutions and technologies and have a desire to work with highly specialized marketing professionals to get their ideas, concepts, and experience in order to draft strong business development pitches. Responsibilities: Developing strategy for performance-based digital media programs that include search, social, SEO, display, etc. Holding strategic media discussions to qualify and pitch new digital business opportunities Developing new business pitches, specifically storytelling to answer RFIs and RFPs Working with cross-functional teams to gather insights, information and meet hard deadlines Communicating with client prospects to develop a strong rapport and close sales Onboarding new clients Tracking sales cycles and documentation in Salesforce Collaborating with the VP and Sr. Account Coordinator on key business pitches Collaborating with internal sales organization to ensure master presentations are updated Managing lead generation team members and partners Working proactively to deepen your understanding of our market, customers, and product Managing or supporting initiatives that contribute to marketing and company goals Qualifications: 7+ years of experience in sales and/or marketing.
