A Timeline of Google Algorithm Updates in Late 2018

It’s more than just Google’s August 1^st update (commonly referred to as the “Medic Update”).

While our last big, broad Google-confirmed update dominates current algorithm talk within the SEO community, a series of smaller modifications and algorithmic corrections have followed along. See below for a timeline of “Medic” aftershocks. These largely unconfirmed updates were caught by both community members (shout out to Marie Haynes!) and by algorithm tracking tools including the SEMrush Sensor and Algoroo.
