Last year, we started a new tradition at Amsive Digital.
As 2020 turned the world upside down, we chose to forgo the usual holiday gift baskets we’d send to our client partners and instead donate to local charities on behalf of our clients to help those who need it most. As an agency that knows our value and strength lies in our people, it was an intuitive move.
This year, we’re continuing this tradition by donating to three local charities that work to fight food insecurity and advocate for those working in the restaurant industry — Food Bank for New York City, Nashville Food Project, and ROAR.
We wanted to share a little about these impressive organizations and encourage you to donate, too.
Food Bank for New York
For over 36 years, Food Bank for New York City has been working to end food poverty as the city’s largest hunger-relief organization. Using a multi-faceted approach, it helps low-income New Yorkers in all five boroughs overcome their circumstances and achieve greater independence.
The Nashville Food Project
The Nashville Food Project brings people together to grow, cook, and share nourishing food to cultivate community and alleviate hunger across the city. With one in seven people in Nashville lacking access to enough food to sustain a healthy lifestyle, it believes that food is a powerful tool to foster health, belonging, and justice within the community.
ROAR (Restaurants Organizing, Advocating & Rebuilding)
Founded in March 2020, ROAR is a powerful voice for restaurant workers and the NYC independent restaurant community, providing health and wellness services to restaurant workers and advocating for NYC’s independent restaurants and their employees.

Throughout the years, Amsive Digital has partnered with many different organizations to make a positive difference in the lives of those around us, especially through our program Amsive Digital Cares (previously PathCares). We’re excited to continue that during this season.
