Tips for Shorter Tweets

Ever have trouble fitting everything you want to say in a single Tweet? Twitter’s 140 character limit can prove to be difficult when you have a lot to say, making every character matter. Pardot has created an infographic with a bunch of tips on how to make short and sweet Tweets.

Apple Fined by Taiwan Fair Trade Commission

Apple has been fined NT$20,000,000 by Taiwan’s Fair Trade Commission,  which works out to about $667,000 USD  for trying to influence Taiwanese iPhone Prices. If Apple does not comply, they will be fined an additional NT$50,000,000, equivalent to around $1,600,000 USD.

Apple allegedly signed off on pricing plans for Chunghwa Telecom, FarEasTone Telecmmunications, and Taiwan Mobile. These are three of Taiwan’s largest telecom companies. According to Taiwanese law, the companies should be free from corporate interference once the rights to distribute Apple devices has been purchased.

Samsung has also previously been fined by Taiwanese laws for running advertisements claiming that the Galaxy Y Duos had an auto-focusing camera with a flash when it in fact, it did not, and also for running an astroturfing campaign to attack Taiwanese competitor HTC’s  products online. Samsung faced fines for NT$300,000 which is roughly just over $10,000 USD.
