Sheryl Sandburg on Forbes Most Powerful Women List Sheryl Sandburg, Facebook’s Chief Operating Officer, was ranked 9th out of 100 on Forbes’s “World’s most Powerful Women” . Right above her at number 8 was Michelle Obama, and topping the list was Germany Chancellor Angela Merkel. Forbes praised Sandburg for her oversight of sales, marketing, business development, HR, and communication at Facebook, her bestselling book Lean In, and becoming part of the Giving Pledge where billionaires donate half of what they make to charity. Lean In is also set to be made into a movie. Sony Pictures, the studio behind The Social Network, has bought the rights to her book. Nell Scovell who worked on the book with Sandburg, who also happens to be a seasoned director and television writer, will be writing the script. The movie plans to be more of a narrative film based on themes in the book, and rather than based on Sandburg’s life. Image of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West Wedding Most Liked Picture on Instagram Ever Over 1.92 million people liked the image of newlyweds Kim Kardashian and Kanye West kissing at their wedding, which set the record for most liked picture on Instagram. Previously, the photo which has held the most likes on Instagram before the “Kimye” nuptials was a picture of Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber getting 1.82 million likes. Bieber also held 2013’s most liked photo with 1.5 million likes which featured him and Will Smith with the caption “Me and uncle Will”.
