Nokia Looking to Add More Big Name Apps to Their Platform

Nokia is planning on bringing apps like Vine and Instagram to their platform. Twitter has confirmed that Vine will be coming to Windows 8 phone but has not specified when it will be happening or if it will be any different from the iPhone version. Why is their platform not up to speed with iOS or Android? Well, the Windows phone platform still only makes up 5 percent of the global market. The man working to bring Instagram to windows phones is Brian Biniak.

“We are working… very hard on Instagram. We’re working closely with Facebook — as you know, we work with them across all kinds of devices. Microsoft has a close relationship with Facebook, which you can see from the Bing decision, and… for Instagram. We’re working on that. We’ve also extended our relationship with Twitter so Vine will also come to the platform later this year. “ -Brian Biniak
